FDA recall records for Freshpet
From the FDA's own Recalls, Market Withdrawals & Safety Alerts list (Animal & Veterinary), last checked October 18, 2026, plus older recalls we added by hand from FDA notices — the same source as our full recall feed, filtered to Freshpet. A recall on this list is a documented fact, not automatically a reason to avoid the brand today — read the reason and date for context.

The FDA's online recall list is complete for recent years but leaves out many notices from before about 2023. We add older FDA recall notices by hand when we find them, so a brand with no listing here may still have an older recall.
